4-Week Drawing Course
Dates: Saturdays — September 5, 12, 19, and 26
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Medium: Pencil only; Composition Study: Large still life containing 5–6 objects. Paper Size: Large A3 format.
Level: Intermediate to Advanced; Age Group: Teenagers and Adults; Cost: Adults — $200; Teenagers — $150.
Payment may be made by cash, check, or Venmo.
4-Week Drawing Course
The 4-Week Drawing Course was designed to help students strengthen and refine skills in perspective, proportion, composition, and shading.
Students will use pencils ranging from H to 7B to achieve a pronounced, realistic light and shadow between objects.
If a student misses a class, there is no opportunity to attend a make-up session.
This applies to any of our courses.
Day 1: First, establish a well-balanced composition for the 4-Week Drawing Course.
Day 2: Complete the composition and refine the proportions and perspective of each object.
Day 3: Begin applying shading techniques, starting with the lightest objects.
Day 4: Complete the shading of all objects, making final adjustments to refine highlights and shadows.
