Watercolor Lessons for Adults
The studio offers adult watercolor art lessons in a group. Artists will experience and learn different watercolor techniques using professional art supplies. Adult art lessons include principles of composition, human anatomy, portraits drawing and color theory.
Watercolor painting is absolutely beautiful art media! In our studio we teach several watercolor techniques like washes, working wet in wet and wet on dry, lifting out and masking out for highlights, and much more.
Art Materials
We use cold press watercolor paper (300 g/m2; 140 lb), pro watercolor pallets (tubes and dry), natural (cable, squirrel) and synthetic watercolor brushes.
Adult group art lessons in a group are available onlyTuesdays from 11am – 12:15pm with pricing at $245 for four (5) hours art lessons. Private (one-to-one) watercolor art sessions can be scheduled upon request and priced at $60 per 1 hour.
Watercolor Lessons for Children
Vivo Art studio offers watercolor group art lessons for children and private one-to-one art sessions. Art lessons available for children starting at 5 years old; Individual (one-to-one) classes can be scheduled upon request Monday – Saturday.
Watercolor painting is one of our favorite art medias. Please note that watercolor painting is also one of the most difficult and challenging techniques. We teach all watercolor skill levels (beginner, intermedia and pro). Our watercolor art program includes studies based on dry on dry, wet on dry and semi-dry watercolor approaches.
Art Materials
During a watercolor art lessons our students use cold press watercolor paper, watercolor (synthetic and natural) brushes and watercolor paint in tubes and dry blocks.
Painting group lessons for children are priced at $145 for 4 (four) hours art lessons and 16 years old – 18 years old with pricing at $155 for 4 (four) hours art lessons.
Payment
Please note that payment is collected upon the student’s arrival at the studio. The initial sign up requires advance payment covering four (4) x 1 hour art lessons. Although payments are non refundable, you can reschedule a missed art lesson provided that you call, text or e-mail us at least 24 hours before your class.
