Children’s Pottery & Sculpture Classes
Our Children’s Pottery & Sculpture Classes at Vivo Art Studio provide a hands-on and encouraging environment where young artists can discover the creative possibilities of clay. Students learn how to shape, form, and transform clay into their own original pottery and sculpture projects while developing artistic skills and confidence.
Designed for children ages 7 and up, each class introduces students to age-appropriate pottery and sculpting techniques. Children learn how to work with clay, build different forms, create textures and patterns, and add decorative details to their projects. Each lesson encourages students to use their imagination and develop their own ideas.
A Hands-On Creative Experience
Every class combines instruction with plenty of hands-on creative time. Students are guided through each project while learning important techniques such as hand-building, shaping, forming, texturing, and sculpting.
We encourage children to experiment with clay and discover their own creative style. There is no single “right” way to make art. Each student is encouraged to make their own creative choices, explore different ideas, and enjoy the process of turning a simple piece of clay into something completely their own.
Pottery & Sculpture Projects
Students work on a variety of creative projects throughout the classes. Depending on the lesson, they may create small sculptures, decorative pieces, containers, figurines, textured forms, and other original clay artworks.
Working with clay also helps children develop patience, concentration, hand coordination, and problem-solving skills while giving them the freedom to create.
All Materials Included
All necessary pottery and sculpture materials are provided and included with the class. Parents do not need to purchase or bring additional supplies.
Perfect for Young Artists
Whether your child is completely new to clay or already enjoys making things with their hands, our pottery and sculpture classes offer a wonderful opportunity to explore a new artistic medium. Students can learn new techniques, develop their creativity, and experience the satisfaction of creating a unique artwork from clay.
